People

Brian Michael, Managing Director
You don't start a company in the difficult arena of event management without a bit of nous. You don't stick with it for 17 years and turn it into a category leader without persistence, passion and the ability to deliver excellence time and time again. And you don't get called upon by the industry without a hard won reputation for expertise that can't be matched.

Brian co-founded AlexTwentyFirstCentury Communications in 1987, and right from the start, the company was already pioneering in its creative and technological offerings. Today, Brian is responsible for a forty strong team with a corporate culture that thrives on creating stunning performances for every client's corporate communications needs. Brian is also on the management board of our parent company, NWD.

Steve Quah, Production Director
Getting the message across is something Steve has been doing for a couple of decades, and a knack of doing it in new, interesting and exciting ways put him in the perfect position to be a co-founder of TwentyFirstCentury. As Production Director and a member of the board, it is under Steve's direction that the company's advanced multiple channel projects are co-ordinated. It is also through his innovative approach to technical excellence that the company has developed sleeve-fulls of technical tricks and software secrets to add spark to all our projects. He's also quite good at juggling. He has to be.

Nigel Bennett, Creative Director and Executive Event Producer
Bringing the show to life has been Nigel's life for over 18 years. He's been Producer and Executive Producer on events ranging from AGMs and financial results to product launches and roadshows. With so much experience, it is little wonder that Nigel has an ability to understand everything from the big idea to the myriad of little practicalities and turn a strong strategy into a compelling and unforgettable experience.

Anne Nicholson, Creative Group Head
We can't work out whether she's worked in more mediums or more nations, but Anne's creative and strategic background brings together a breadth of experience and a global perspective that enables her to guide our creative team to deliver results that are highly imaginative and effective. Anne brings with her over 15 years experience in the communications industry, which includes working on projects for Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Saatchi & Saatchi, Fox Television and Times Warner Publishing, to name a few.

Jon Savage, Account Director
With over 17 years experience, TwentyFirstCentury Communications has developed a wealth of products and processes, and it is Jon who helps make the connections between these and our clients. He can bring together and advise on a package that will enhance all levels of communications, whilst reducing capital expenditure.

Reporting to the Board, Jon has the overall responsibility of managing a number of our key strategic accounts. He is responsible for allocating resources to a particular account, managing the client services team and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Martin Ivell, Production Manager
As a designer in the Live Events industry for 9 years, Martin has gained specialist knowledge of all aspects within the industry. Throughout this period his main responsibility was the design and creation of speaker support material for a diverse range of clients.

In his role as production manager, his duties include the management of our live events graphic, video and development teams. Martin is also responsible for client handling including scheduling, quoting and billing of all work.
