Resource Alliance - The Fundraisers Fund

Challenge

The Fundraisers Fund exists to share money and knowledge between experienced fundraisers in the developed world, and fundraisers in countries with newly-emerging markets such as India, Brazil, the Philippines, and parts of Africa.

Our challenge was to bring these two groups together. So we created an online community for fundraisers around the world. Members donate to The Fundraisers Fund in order to interact with other members. Bursary recipients ¬– people who benefit from the fund – are also members of the community, promoting their work and sharing what they’ve learned.

Result

The Good Agency, as sponsors of the project, created the brand for The Fundraisers Fund and Twentyfirst carried this branding through to the online community. We also selected a software platform providing user profiles, blogs, user galleries, forums and groups and customised the site to enable donations and to improve usability.

Within a month of launch there were over 200 members of the community who have donated and signed up to the site. Google Analytics is used for assessment showing an initial 11,000 page views, with each user spending an average of more than ten minutes on the site.
